Renewables
Under our Renewables service area, LM Core Energy drives the development and delivery of clean energy projects. We specialize in utility-scale renewable generation, tapping into nature’s resources to produce power sustainably. Our renewables team has experience with a range of technologies and project types:
- Solar Energy: From conceptual design through commissioning, we deliver complete photovoltaic (PV) systems optimized for land use, sun tracking, and grid interconnectivity. Our EPC services cover module procurement, civil and electrical construction, SCADA integration, and utility coordination for seamless deployment.
- Wind Energy: We support the full development and construction lifecycle of wind projects including met tower installation, wind resource modeling, turbine selection and siting, roadwork and foundation design, and interconnection facilities. Our expertise ensures optimal output and long-term durability even in remote terrains.
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS): We engineer, procure, and construct battery storage installations co-located with renewables or standalone. Our services include sizing optimization, energy management system integration, permitting, safety planning (NFPA 855), and commissioning protocols tailored to utility and IPP clients.
- Geothermal Energy: We provide subsurface and surface expertise for geothermal development including geothermal gradient studies, wellfield layout, drilling program management, binary or flash plant engineering, and fluid handling infrastructure.

Mission Critical
Our Mission Critical services focus on energy infrastructure for facilities and operations that cannot afford downtime. We specialize in supporting data centers, telecommunications hubs, and other high-reliability environments with resilient, uninterrupted power solutions:
- High-Availability Power Systems: We engineer redundant electrical architectures including dual substations, UPS systems, switchgear with bypass/isolation, and backup gensets compliant with NFPA 110. Our designs meet Tier III and Tier IV standards for uptime.
- Microgrids & Distributed Generation: We integrate solar arrays, battery energy storage, gas generators, and control systems into advanced microgrids that operate autonomously or in parallel with the grid. These systems ensure power continuity during outages or grid instability.
- Thermal Management & Electrical Infrastructure: We design HVAC systems, electrical raceways, and fire suppression solutions to align with ASHRAE and Uptime Institute standards. Our electrical rooms, server racks, and data floors are supported by real-time SCADA and predictive diagnostics.
- Power Quality & Monitoring: We install and configure power analyzers, harmonic filters, PQ meters, and load balancers to protect sensitive equipment and ensure electrical system reliability. Real-time dashboards and alerts provide situational awareness and rapid fault response.

New Energies
LM Core Energy is at the forefront of New Energies, embracing innovative technologies that are driving the transition to a low-carbon future:
- Hydrogen Solutions: We design and develop end-to-end hydrogen infrastructure including PEM/alkaline electrolyzers, blue hydrogen systems (SMR with CCUS), compression skids, storage tanks (liquid, gas, solid-state), and pipeline or trailer distribution. Our services also include hydrogen fueling stations and industrial process integration.
- Energy Storage & Battery Technology: Our team deploys front-of-meter and behind-the-meter storage solutions. We conduct storage value stacking analyses, interconnection studies, and design of integrated BESS systems (inverters, EMS, fire systems) for both grid support and renewable integration.
- Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS): We offer pre-combustion, post-combustion, and direct air capture (DAC) technology integration for power and industrial clients. Our scope includes amine scrubbers, compression/purification units, CO2 pipelines, injection wells, and Class VI permitting support.
We help clients pilot emerging solutions, qualify for tax credits (e.g., 45Q, IRA), and position for long-term decarbonization.
Upstream Services
We support upstream oil & gas operations with integrated services that maximize resource recovery and minimize environmental impact:
- Exploration and Production Infrastructure: We design and construct gathering systems, well pads, separators, dehydration units, and early production facilities. Our capabilities include flare reduction systems, vapor recovery, instrumentation and control (I&C), and SCADA configuration.
- Upstream Carbon Capture (CCUS): We deploy modular carbon capture systems on processing plants and gas treatment units. These systems are designed for high-CO2-content gas and can interface with EOR or sequestration programs. We integrate compression skids, metering stations, and injection wells into field operations.
Our upstream teams bring extensive oilfield experience with a focus on regulatory compliance, emissions mitigation, and long-term field performance.
Midstream Services
We offer engineering, procurement, and construction for midstream facilities transporting, conditioning, and storing energy commodities:
- Pipeline and Storage Solutions: We provide complete pipeline services from route planning and HDD bore packages to ROW acquisition, welding, hydrotesting, and pigging infrastructure. Storage solutions include tank farms, cavern storage, and dehydration/skimming systems.
- LNG & RNG Infrastructure: For LNG, we provide EPC for liquefaction plants (including gas pre-treatment, MR/PR cryogenic systems), tank farms, loading terminals, and regasification skids. For RNG, we support biogas upgrading systems (membrane/PSA), pipeline injection, and utility interconnects.
- Hydrogen Midstream: We engineer hydrogen transport and storage systems including steel/HDPE pipelines, bulk storage in composite tanks or caverns, and transfer skids for fueling or industrial use. We also develop blending interfaces for existing gas pipelines.
Our midstream services adhere to ASME, API, DOT PHMSA standards and leverage real-time telemetry for operational visibility and safety.
Downstream Services
Our downstream capabilities include:
- Refining and Petrochemical Facilities: We deliver grassroots and brownfield refinery units including distillation columns, hydrotreaters, FCC, reformers, and sulfur recovery units. We handle modularization, revamp tie-ins, catalyst loading, and turnaround planning.
- Clean Fuels & Emissions Reduction: We retrofit and upgrade refineries to produce renewable diesel, SAF, and ULSD. We implement vapor recovery, waste heat recovery, NOx/SOx abatement, and carbon capture systems to meet ESG and EPA compliance.
Our teams work closely with process licensors and operators to deliver safe, efficient, and high-performance facilities.
Utility Services
We support electric utilities with advanced planning, construction, and modernization of grid assets:
- Grid Modernization: We upgrade substations, overhead/underground distribution systems, and implement ADMS/DMS platforms. We deploy smart metering (AMI), fault location systems, and reclosers to enhance visibility and automate grid response.
- Utility-Scale Renewable Energy: We develop and construct large-scale wind, solar, and geothermal plants feeding into ISO/RTO markets. Our services include energy yield modeling, interconnect management, civil/electrical BOP, and test/startup commissioning.
- Energy Storage Solutions: We provide turnkey BESS integration for peaker replacement, frequency response, and arbitrage. We handle sizing, EMS integration, grid studies, and NERC/FERC compliance documentation.
